“To serve as the lifeline between our community and emergency responders by delivering accurate, timely, and reliable emergency communications with integrity and dedication.”
The Trumann Police Department Emergency Communications Center strives to provide the most effective and efficient communications possible. The primary purpose of the TPD Communications Center is to provide a lifeline to the citizens of Trumann and Poinsett County, protect property, deter crime, and uphold the laws of the State of Arkansas. Successful communications centers must gain and uphold the respect, confidence, and trust of the public with whom it serves. To accomplish this, every Dispatcher of the Trumann Police Department performs their duties in an efficient, honest, and businesslike manner.
Our Emergency Communications Center operates 24/7 365 days a year and handles thousands of calls for service. They are responsible for dispatching not only for the Trumann Police Department, but also the Trumann Fire Department and the Central Fire Department. In the year of 2025, our Communications Center entered over 11,000 calls for service.
