A Real-Time Crime Center (RTCC) is a centralized hub within the Trumann Police Department to collect, analyze, and share live information during crimes or emergencies. It combines technology, data, and training to support officers in the field and improve response times.
Instead of officers relying only on radio traffic or delayed reports, an RTCC can monitor live feeds, track incidents, and provide intelligence instantly while an event is unfolding.
Key tasks the RTCC completes:
Attempts to locate suspects and/or suspect vehicles
Track movement during an active incident
Utilize TPD law enforcement records
Utilize live-feed and recording camera systems across the City of Trumann
Locates needed camera footage
Identifies patterns between incidents
